Returns, Refunds & Adjustments Policy
Last updated: 4 September 2026
Motorcycle Bazaar supplies both made-to-measure and personalised Motorce motorcycle gear and standard ready-to-wear products. Because custom products are made specifically for an individual customer, different change-of-mind conditions apply to them. Nothing in this policy limits any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage.
You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Custom-made and personalised products
We do not accept change-of-mind returns or exchanges for made-to-measure, bespoke or personalised products once production has commenced. This includes products made to customer-supplied measurements, colours, graphics, logos, names, race numbers or other individual specifications.
This exclusion does not apply where a product is faulty, unsafe, materially different from the approved order, does not match the agreed specifications, or otherwise fails to meet a consumer guarantee under the Australian Consumer Law.
Measurements, fit and adjustments
Customers using our remote measurement process are responsible for supplying complete and accurate measurements and approving them before production. We build the required fit allowances into the garment, so customers should not add their own allowances.
If a fit issue results from incorrect customer-supplied measurements or a later change in the customer’s body size, alterations may be available at the customer’s cost. We will explain any proposed alteration and associated costs before work begins.
If a garment does not match the approved measurements or specifications because of an error in manufacture, or if we took the measurements and the garment has not been made accordingly, please contact us so we can assess the garment and provide an appropriate remedy. Depending on the circumstances, this may include an adjustment, repair, replacement or refund.
Please contact us promptly after receiving and trying on a custom garment, preferably within 7 days, so fit concerns can be assessed quickly. This request does not reduce or replace any rights that apply for a longer period under the Australian Consumer Law.
Faulty, damaged or incorrect products
If an item arrives damaged, is faulty, is unsafe, or is different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible. Include your order number, a description of the issue and clear photographs where possible.
Please report visible transit damage within 7 days where practical so we can raise the issue with the carrier promptly. Failure to report within 7 days does not remove any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
We may ask you to return the product so it can be inspected. Do not send a product back until we have provided return instructions.
Ready-to-wear products and change of mind
Change-of-mind returns for non-custom, ready-to-wear products are not automatic and must be approved by us before the item is returned. Any approved item must be unworn, unused, unwashed and in its original condition with all tags and packaging intact. The customer is responsible for change-of-mind return shipping.
These conditions do not apply to a return made because a product fails to meet a consumer guarantee.
Remedies and refunds
The remedy available depends on the nature of the problem and the rights that apply under the Australian Consumer Law. For a major failure, the customer may be entitled to choose a refund or replacement. For a failure that is not major, we may be entitled to provide a repair or replacement within a reasonable time.
Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method. After we process a refund, your bank or payment provider may require additional time for the funds to appear. Original and return shipping costs will be handled in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law. Where goods are confirmed to be faulty or incorrect, we will cover or reimburse reasonable return costs as required.
Order cancellations
Contact us immediately if you need to cancel or change a custom order. A custom order may be cancelled within 12 hours of purchase if design or production work has not commenced. After that period, or once design or production has started, cancellation may not be possible because costs have already been incurred.
This cancellation condition does not limit any rights arising from a failure by us to meet a consumer guarantee or the agreed order terms.
