Perth Motorcycle Track Days: A Wanneroo Raceway Guide

Perth riders looking to get onto a circuit have Wanneroo Raceway as the main local option, with track days running through various providers across the year. If you're WA-based and haven't done one yet, here's roughly what to expect.

What a typical day looks like

Providers running at Wanneroo generally split riders into skill-based groups, novice, intermediate, advanced, so you're not sharing the track with much faster riders on your first session. Expect a rider briefing first thing, then rotating sessions through the day with breaks in between groups.

Gear requirements

Being based in Perth helps

We're a Perth workshop ourselves. Motorce operates out of Welshpool, fittings by appointment, so local riders getting into track days can come in, get properly measured, and actually see the leather and armour options in person instead of guessing sizes off a screen. It's not far from Wanneroo if you're heading out there regularly.

Making the jump to your own suit

If Wanneroo turns into a regular thing rather than a one-off, a custom race suit built to your own measurements is worth thinking about earlier than most riders do.
